Sir Hunmphrey de Trafford helped establish Britain as a great nation of dog breeders. The English Setters shown are Ch Mallwyd Bess, Barton Maud, Ch Mallwyd Flo, Barton Rap, Ch Grouse of Kippen, Duchess of Welbeck, Barton Charmer, Barton Lucy and Ch Barton Tory. Tory was Best of Breed at Crufts in both 1898 and 1899 and was later owned bys E Shirley, founder of the Kennel Club
